Here you can find sample videos and animations captured by two MS Kinect 2 (Kinect for XBox One) depth sensors with the aid of Distributed Recording.
Calibration Sequence
Sample calibration video file and appropriate iPiCalib project which is result of processing in iPi Mocap Studio:
| ↓ Download video file ↓ dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiVideo 550 MByte |
||||
| ↓ Download calibration file ↓ dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiCalib 242 KByte |
How to use:
- Download and install iPi Mocap Studio.
- Download both above files and put them all in one and the same folder on your hard drive.
- Run iPi Mocap Studio, click Open button or press Ctrl+O and select dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiCalib file downloaded on the previous step.
- Now you can "play" with resulting calibration data in iPi Mocap Studio.
- If you want to try to process source video file by yourself then:
- click New button or press Ctrl+N;
- select dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiVideo file downloaded before;
- choose Calibration project type;
- switch to Calibration tab and push Calibrate Based on Light Marker button;
- after calibration is performed, hide background using View > Hide Background menu item and turn on View > Show Depth from All Sensors item;
- now you can visually check the quality of the resulted point cloud.
"Walking" Performance Sequence
Sample performance video file with walking movements and appropriate iPiMotion project which is result of processing in iPi Mocap Studio:
| ↓ Download video file ↓ dual_kinect2_walking.iPiVideo 104 MByte |
||||
| ↓ Download project file ↓ dual_kinect2_walking.iPiMotion 371 KByte |
How to use:
- Download and install iPi Mocap Studio.
- Download both above files and put them all in one and the same folder on your hard drive.
- Run iPi Mocap Studio, click Open button or press Ctrl+O and select dual_kinect2_walking.iPiMotion file downloaded on the previous step.
- Now you can "play" with resulting animation in iPi Mocap Studio, import your target character and export resulting animation based on the following instructions.
- If you want to try to process source video file by yourself then:
- click New button or press Ctrl+N;
- select dual_kinect2_walking.iPiVideo file downloaded before;
- choose Action project type;
- choose the following file as scene parameters: dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiCalib
- set the following parameters of actor:
- Gender = Male
- Height = 1.75 m
- then you can process the video.
Exported "Walking" Animation
You can export animation from sample project using free trial version of iPi Mocap Studio: see Animation Export article.
If you don't want to install and run iPi Mocap Studio, below you can find sample animation files for different rigs and in different formats. All these files are produced by iPi Mocap Studio from this sample project.
- Default iPi Rig
- Motion Builder
- 3ds Max Biped
- Source Film Maker and Valve Source Engine
"Floor Rolls" Performance Sequence
Sample performance video file with floor rolls movements and appropriate iPiMotion project which is result of processing in iPi Mocap Studio:
| ↓ Download video file ↓ dual_kinect2_floor_rolls.iPiVideo 438 MByte |
||||
| ↓ Download project file ↓ dual_kinect2_floor_rolls.iPiMotion 1.26 MByte |
How to use:
- Download and install iPi Mocap Studio.
- Download both above files and put them all in one and the same folder on your hard drive.
- Run iPi Mocap Studio, click Open button or press Ctrl+O and select dual_kinect2_floor_rolls.iPiMotion file downloaded on the previous step.
- Now you can "play" with resulting animation in iPi Mocap Studio, import your target character and export resulting animation based on the following instructions.
- If you want to try to process source video file by yourself then:
- click New button or press Ctrl+N;
- select dual_kinect2_floor_rolls.iPiVideo file downloaded before;
- choose Action project type;
- choose the following file as scene parameters: dual_kinect2_calibration_short.iPiCalib
